To parse verbs:

Parse the verbs in the following sentence:

Thou hast gone to thy rest.

Hast gone is a verb.
It expresses an action.
The verb go is irregular.
It does not form its past tense and past participle by adding ed.
The principal parts of to go are:

go
went
gone.

The verb go is intransitive because it does not receive or require an object to complete the meaning.
It is common form and represents an act as completed without reference to its progress.
It is in the indicative mode because it asserts a thing as actual.
It is in the present perfect tense which expresses an action completed in present time.
The verb is in the second person, singular number and agrees with its second person, singular subject thou.

This sentence can also be parsed in an abbreviated form:

Hast gone is an irregular, intransitive verb.
Its principal parts are:

go
went
gone.

It is:

indicative mode
present perfect tense
second person
singular
number.

It agrees with its subject thou.
