To parse prepositions:

Tell that it is a preposition and why.
Tell the words and phrases that it shows the relations among.

Parse the prepositions in the following sentence:

He went from England to France.

From is a preposition.
It is used to show the relation of a noun or a pronoun to some other word.
It shows the relation of the noun England to the verb went.
To is a preposition.
It shows the relation of the noun France to the verb went.


At this point proceed to Exercise 32.
